Goodbye Len - the end of Goring Field will never be the same - first Chris and now you. Our children enjoyed their childhood together - Jenny , Kathryn and Becky enjoyed many hours in and out of our houses. The garden project took many years but when Len completed it it was a fine tribute to Chris. Both Len and Chris were very inspirational about exploring the Lake District and we followed their recommendations and go every year - although our climbs are never as daring as the ones attempted by Len. I remember they used to visit the unknown parts and I always think of them when I’m up a mountain. Your children have done you proud and you will be so, so missed. Love Geraldine and Duncan. Xx
